What is Google EDLA?

 

Since 2022, Technology providers across the globe have been announcing their EDLA certification (Google Enterprise Devices License Agreement.)

Being EDLA certified provides Interactive Display Board users the ability to use Google Mobile Services straight out of the box!

Included within Google Mobile Services will be apps Including Google Chrome, Google Mail, YouTube, Maps and more.

 

Why are we excited?

 

For our customers in the education sector that have already adopted the likes of Google Workspace. EDLA represents a real opportunity for you to be able to share your screen and Google applications on your Interactive Display without any external connection.

 

You will be able to utilise the likes of Google Play Store which will give you access to Google’s secure library of applications.

Being able to offer EDLA certified display boards means we can offer our customers a different choice of operating system . Therefore another variant of application management. You can choose to harness Google’s Mobile Services or the native operating system provided by the manufacturer.
